I didn't take the typical path into software. I started my career as a Licensed Private Investigator — running fraud investigations, building court-ready evidence cases, and managing surveillance operations across Ontario for 7+ years. Along the way, I noticed how much time was wasted on manual processes, so I taught myself to code and built custom database tools to automate evidence management. That changed everything.
Today I run Pixel Elite Media from Sidney Street in Belleville, building production software for businesses across the Quinte region and beyond. I still work as a Casino Surveillance Supervisor at Shorelines Casino (AML compliance, real-time threat detection), and I founded the Quinte Ball Hockey League — Belleville's largest adult ball hockey league with 300+ lifetime players.
